Supplies:

1x stainless steel quick link

3 strands of plastic cord

17 coloured craft sticks with holes drilled at either end and through the center

Pony beads

Instructions:

Step one – tie one strand of cord to the quick link and thread 3 pony beads onto it, thread it through the centre of the first craft stick, knot the other two strands of plastic cord and thread those through either end

Step two – thread one of the end strings into another craft stick, thread a pony bead onto the middle string, and 2 pony beads onto the other end string

Step three – repeat step two until you have a total of 8 beads on one side of the toy, then change direction still putting 1 pony bead on the middle strand, but the 2 beads will go on the opposite side.

Step four – keep doing this until you have run out of sticks, tie off the cords on each end, and add a few pony beads to the centre cord before tieing that off too
