Wiffle Preener

Supplies:

  • 1x stainless steel quick link
  • 2x small plastic wiffle balls
  • Approx. 2-3 metres of unbleached cotton rope
  • Round pony beads

  • Instructions:

Step one – tie a length of cotton rope to the quick link, thread on approx. 5 pony beads, a wiffle ball, 3 pony beads, a wiffle ball and 5 pony beads in that order. Tie a knot in the end of the rope to hold it all in place.

Step two – take a length of cotton rope approx. 10-15cm long, tie a knot in one end, string on a pony bead, and then thread it through one hole in the wiffle ball and out a second hole directly beside the first (this saves rope, you may need tweezers to pull it through the second hole). Thread on another pony bead and then tie a knot to finish. Separate the ends of the rope to give the fluffy look.

Step three – repeat step two until all the holes in the wiffle ball have the rope and beads. It’s time consuming, but not difficult!
