I was enchanted by the beginning, beautiful birdies, cute etc.
Then after a few minutes Blu is in the coffee shop with his owner and she is giving him a big mug full of CHOCOLATE!
Now, I understand that it's just a cartoon... But how many children will think that it's a cute idea? I was appalled by the lack of research these people put into their own creation.
Not Impressed.

I just hope that parents don't buy their kids a budgie and the kids decide they want to try it!

I honestly love that movie. But I noticed that too. And one part that really bugged me was that they made all of the hookbills without zydodactyl feet, but rather gave 2 toes on the front and one on the back. Also, dog saliva is very dangerous to a bird's health, but I just let it roll off my shoulders since I still liked it so much. In fact, I am going to see Rio 2 when it comes out. I still love cartoons.

I mean, if they are going to have birds, or any other animal in their movies, I would think that at least they would try to be relistic..... I mean, come on!

Well, whenever Nigel the cockatoo took off, a cloud of dust came off of him. I thought it was a nice touch that nobody else saw.

Just giving people who don't know what's good
or not for birds, the wrong idea..
