Update on Sunny,she doing well with her 1st egg,today she lay her 2nd egg. She has two eggs. I hope that it. She happy,she rest 3 days before the 2nd egg came.

2nd egg lay February 28th

I will take a photo of her 2 eggs. My phone die so it will have to wait.

Now she a happy cockatiel with 2 eggs more update soon.

She used to have a mate,he die may 1st 2009. She met him 2008. I will right of sunny life.

This is Sunny mate,that past away in may 1st 2009. He was very special to her. He the gray and White cockatiel,name Buddy.

She eating and drinking alot,she has lots of calcium,and vitamins.

Isn't Sunny more than 20 years old?!? That's VERY old for a hen to be laying eggs, they aren't really supposed to still be able to do it at that age. Keep a close eye on her to make sure she's healthy. It's good that she's getting lots of calcium, it will help prevent egg binding.

She is healthy, thanks. I am keeping my eye on her.

She's an amazing girl. The eggs won't hatch of course because she doesn't have a mate, but I hope she enjoys sitting on them. It would be good to start using hormone control techniques sometime before these eggs reach their "due date", to make sure she doesn't lay another clutch when this one fails to hatch.
