Oh and Barbara, Poptart doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, he will be addressed by Poppy. Or Sodie Pop.

The more popular term here would be something along the lines of "slut" or "ho" lol. But little Poppie is apparently a boy so the alternate meaning wouldn't apply as easily.

Back in the days before pop singer Madonna was old and over the hill, she was sometimes called a pop tart. They weren't talking about breakfast foods.

Oh, OK. That's not nearly as bad as what I was expecting. We have some... selective names for those over here too.

True story about the dangers of talking to people from the other side of the pond. My cousin has English friends, and one day when she was with them the Englishwoman said something along the lines of "Oh, I'm getting so old." My cousin said "Don't worry, you look like you still have plenty of spunk in you." After seeing the expression on the English faces, she said "What did I say?"

Our English readers already know what she said. For everyone else: in the US 'spunk' refers to an energetic spirit. In England it's a slang term for semen. Oops.

Hahahh I made that mistake myself... not being a true english person I absorb a lot of american phrases, aussie, english, all in a bit of a messy pot; once I said that to Paul when I was talking about Angelina... he laughed for about ten minutes lol

PS 29 hours to go.... this is exciting!!!
