Last couple of months I have noticed Iago sitting alone. Where she normally sits with Timon. At first I thought it was because Timon had a new girl (the Swedish Chef).

But then I noticed how she started swallowing now and again.

Last sunday I found her dead body on the second wooden nestbox I put in (you haven't seen it yet, but it's the same one as in my videos).

I'm going to miss the old bird, she was 10 years and a couple of weeks old. Out of all the birds in the aviary she was the only one that stepped up when I asked (cheating cause I always used millet or some other sort of treat).

Still I'll miss her.

RIP

I'm sorry that you lost her, she was a lovely bird. I don't know what could have caused it.

Iago was a cockatiel. The eldest I adopted.

I don't check this subforum on a regular basis while I should.
I am very sorry for the loss of Lago, Bob. Our birds are in our hearts.
Fly free Lago
