It would be kinda silly to give your birds away based on a thought now wouldn't it?

Whether it's silly or not, it's what you seemed to be saying. But there was also talk about premonitions involving the smell of dog food and parrots being your destiny, which turned out to be your way of saying "free choice" not the usual definition of a predetermined course of events. So it was all kind of garbled, and pretty hard to read too since there wasn't much punctuation or spacing to break it up. So it was hard for people to figure out what you really meant.

A premonition is like seeing the future or past not smelling stuff, Anyways I don't have premonitions it was just a smell like I said my little sister was smelling perfume too and its just supposed to mean that there could be a spirit around you like smelling dog food was probably one of my dogs.

And if that was what I was saying how come none of you even tried to maybe stop me because it would be a bad thing to do.

We DID try to stop you. That's what Mel was telling you this whole time and you said she gave bad advice. We are trying to help you but we don't come off as rude so subtle hints.

What we were trying to say is you have the choice, we're just suggesting possible alternatives and outcomes. The title of this thread implied that you were seeking other's opinions on your particular situation is all. MM

There wasn't anything to stop because you hadn't actually decided to do anything yet. And even if you HAD decided that it was best to get rid of the birds, you know your situation better than we do so it wouldn't be appropriate for us to try to stop you. There were people on other boards who tried to stop you from rehoming Rio, and blamed you after you did it anyway because you thought it was the best thing to do. That wasn't a good experience for anybody who was involved in it. Whether to keep or rehome a pet is a very personal decision and no one else can make the decision for you.

We also know from experience that you tend to get all excited about some new type of pet that you'd like to have but it usually blows over in a few days. So if all of us (especially you) just wait for a little while, your thoughts will become clearer and you'll know what you want to do.

If you smell something that isn't really there and it's a sign that something is about to happen or has happened but you don't know about it yet, that qualifies as a premonition.

I thought the issue was ,getting a dog, and no money spare.
You've answered your own question....

No spare money...... no dog!
When people have money problems to add another pet to the equation, is just madness...
