I gave away the rest of my tiels. I have one bird now. He is a sun conure and he will live with me on the house!! It's a bittersweet moment. I'm actually holding up very well. It will take me a week to fully not be sad over it and to realize it was for the best. They are in a better place now.

Thank you Bob. I never knew someone was happy for me. I thought everyone was upset at me for betraying my tiels. At least thats how i feel.

I made this thread in the afternoon, I was doing fine then but now that its night it hit me. I am very sad now but ill probably be all happy and excited tomorrow morning.

Thanks guys. I feel much better today. Im so excited for the new cage. Im going to do an ultra deep clean in my room so it will look brand new when i set up the new cage and everything.

i know how you feel i had to do that for a lizard i had, becuse i couldent afford him no more. it was for his happnes not mine. it was really hard. i cried alot. i know its not a bird but i still know how you feel hugs.
