You were thinking of names that meant strong or strength, right? I can look for names. What type of language would you prefer?

The first thought that popped into my head was "Big Bad Mo Fo". There's some bad language involved in that one. :yikes:

Haha, more like "Bad Little Mofo Who May One Day Be Big, But Probably Not Given His Parents' Genetics".

If you want to look, go ahead! Preference is generally toward something either easy to say, or that has a very easy-to-say nickname (Pippin's real name is Serendipity, for example, Pippin for short).

Clover might be an acceptable halfway point between what my mom wants and I what I want. I also like Isana.

We've now broken 7 grams weight-wise, and are eating .5mL every two hours. Just bumped it up to .6 for this last feeding, going to slowly increase every feeding until we're to 10% of body weight. his crop still isn't quite stretched out enough for .7.

The name would still work if he just THINKS like a Big Bad Mofo. It's all about attitude, baby.

You could name him Mofo and tell your mother it's Sanskrit for 'beautiful flower'. And then hope that she doesn't google it.

We blew past 8 grams yesterday and are over halfway to 9.

I need to get some pictures, but he won't stay still long enough anymore.

And we've passed 9 grams! Eating .8mL every 2 and a half hours.

I might need to work from home next week--he's starting to get pretty loud when he begs.

I'd just like to point out that he has not one, not two, but three soft toys to rest his head on plus the glove. And what is his preferred pillow? The hard plastic thermometer

He probably thinks the thermometer is an egg. The older babies in every clutch use the unhatched eggs as a pillow.

Understandable. I find eggs very comforting. When I'm stressed I cuddle with my chicken egg.

I have a good feeling that while he's not pretty now, he's going to be very attractive later on. Now, I know light yellow means lutino, but it can also mean cinnamon, correct?
