Hi, I know I've been gone for a pretty long time, but I really need some help.

Coco has been acting very differently since yesterday. My brother and I suspect he's dehydrated since it's really hot outside. I tried giving him water, but he spit it right out. Just now is he holding in some of it. He's also been very sleepy and doesn't have any energy. It seems like he struggles to even open his eyes.

Does anyone have a clue to what is going on with him?

Is it possible to put him in a cooler location?

I don't remember if the climate is dry where you are, but if it is you can spray him lightly with water and it will help cool him down. Give him some electrolyte solution to drink - Gatorade or a similar sports drink will work, or you can make your own from the recipe at http://www.webmd.com/hw-popup/rehydrati ... ar=hw86827

Overheating and dehydration is dangerous, so please do all you can to help him.

I gave him water at first, but he threw it right out. And he looked like he was stretching his neck, bobbing it constantly. As soon as I knew about it, I took him inside and placed him in air conditioner and let him sleep. He slept for a whole day. I also brought in the rest of the flock with their cages because that day was VERY hot. Today, he's great. He's eating and drinking water constantly. I am however keeping an eye on him.

Do you think you could bring all of them in without waiting while somebody gets overheated and sick?
this is what I have to do with my rabbits...Too hot and dangerous. we bought a small AC unit to use in garage. It doesn't cool as much as temperatures inside the house but still, it's much, much better than outside (there is also a large fan there). I am sure they would survive outside but I am not sure if they would make it without getting sick. One of them already suffered fly strike this summer.
I do take my birds outside for an hour or two every day (at least I try to). I can tell that when temperatures get over 30C, they are not thriving at all.
