The theme is Happy Times. Your bird looking happy or doing something that made somebody happy. Up to five entries per person.

Lucy is always the happiest when she is receiving one of three things.

Food...

Scritches...

And an opportunity to cause destruction in the household.

(Poor tiny gingerbred people.)

(She apparently felt the need to climb on top of the finch's cage at the time and look down at them, scaring the poor things. Needless to say, they weren't the happy ones in this situation)

(totally not getting ready to tear up these orchids or anything)

There's no doubt about whose daughter she is! I like the "destroy the gingerbread house" one.

Yup, the seeds do not fall far from the sunflower. Although they do get eaten by birds.

Although it's funny how, when I first got her she was too busy and hyper to sit still for scritches. Still when she comes out of the cage, she has to spend her time playing and just generally trying to destroy things before she's ready for scritches, but she enjoys them more than she used to.

While everyone's getting ready for Christmas, I think Lucy's getting ready to eat Christmas. Good thing the gingerbread house is ceramic. Imagine the mess made with a real one!

He's trying to destroy the blind cords so of course he's happy! I keep the blind cords in the bird room tucked behind the blinds to keep the birds away from them. It works most of the time.
