Is there anything about it that's not safe? It comes with an ionizer field. Is that allowed for birds?

Never mind. I found out it wasn't safe.
If anyone knows a true hepa air purifier that is safe for birds and won't cost so much money, I'd really appreciate it.

Nevermind again. I just found out the ionizer option can be turned off. I'm going to buy it now.

I'm not really sure. I heard it's bad for birds and humans. I'm not sure how though.

Ionizers put ozone into the air. Not good for humans, and even worse for the sensitive respiratory system of birds. As long as you can turn this feature off it'll be fine.
Before you buy, read some of the reviews to see what people like and don't like about it. I find this to be very helpful. I bought a Honeywell air purifier once but I returned it because it was very noisy. Like trying to sleep under the flight path to an airport. But I know that some of their models are quiet, and this was several years ago so maybe all of them are quiet now. It pays to find out about these things in advance.

Thanks. The air purifier came. It's really good. The noise doesn't bother me a bit. I put it on high. It does the job well. My nose doesn't feel like it's burning when I come in the room anymore which is a good sign. I really like it.

Well good, it would really suck to have a sun conure allergy.
