This morning, I took the cover off the cage and all three birds were crowded around the door waiting to come out.

I opened the door and held out my arm. Emma muscled past the other two birds and jumped on to get the first sunflower seed!

I am remembering how worried I was after I had her clipped and she seemed so shy and withdrawn.

I kept distributing seeds, and all three birds were crowding around me, jockeying for position.

I feel so blessed that all three of my birds seem so active and happy, and so eager to come out of the cage.

You've done an excellent job of teaching them! Life is better for everyone when the birds are socialized with humans.

Congratulations on a job well done! I'm so proud of your success. Emma has changed so much, and it's for the better for the both of you.
