The Budgies are doing ok.

Little Lemon's nestbox:
One babie died (last one to come out of the nest) he got pushed out of the way when it was feeding time I imagine. Still 4 out of 5 left in that nest. 2 of them have gotten a nice little ring!

Tropicana's nestbox:
All is good here, I was a bit early with my ring on the second born baby, but his ring was still in the nest next moring (it came of his leg though). The 6th egg is still not hatched, and I'll remove it in the morning if it still hasn't by then. Chances of the chick surviving with bigger brothers is small anyway.

Marina's nestbox:
2 chicks already. Nothing wrong, all is looking nice!

Busy times for you.....

Yes these are busy times. I don't have to go to work tomorrow so I thought I'd put some time in updates here and reading up some threads...

Update on the budgies though:

Little Lemon's nestbox:
All four babies are doing well. They have rings 001, 003, 006 and 008. (I dropped number 2 and can't find it in the sand...)
Looks like the eldest (who are growing the first feathers) are going to be yellowish, but it's really to early to be sure.

Tropicana's nestbox:
I had to remove the one egg. The Five others have hatched, all of the babies are doing well! I'm happy about that and gave them all a ring! (004, 005, 007, 009 and 011)

Marina's nestbox:
Two eggs didn't hatch. I had to remove them. So only two chicks here. Also ringed.
