In the future, I wouldn't mind expanding to 2 conures. I would like a blue crown conure to be the new addition. My plan was to have the conures in the same cage so I can give them the equal amount of spoilage and won't have to wonder if one cafe is better than the other. I'm just wondering if they can be housed together. They are both aratanga conures but blue crowns are bigger and have bigger beaks.

I am planning on getting the blue crown as a baby to adjust to our lifestyle more easily, bond to the birds, and think of me as the parents. I did the same thing with Rio and have great results. He isn't too loud either which is also a plus.

So, back to the question, do you think I have a shot in getting them to share a cage without anyone have a World War III? I'm planning on a big cage. Perhaps a corner one, I don't know. This won't happen anytime this year or so. Im just planning.

It's really going to depend on the personalities of the birds, and the situation might be different when they're hormonal than it is when they're not hormonal. Your best bet is to be prepared to house them separately, but be flexible enough that you can put them together if they get along well.

The only way is to try this....
