tsuka wakes up before the cage is uncovered. he goes down to the bottom of the cage and sits in the same spot every morning. he sits in the middle in front of the door and just stares out from under the cover. not fluffed, he plays with the toys sometimes. once i wake up he goes back up and chirps and chirps and chirps. give them fresh seed and water and he still chirps.

why does he sit there like that? he started this about a week ago. dally goes down and sits on a low perch and calls but thats about it from her. i understand her behaviour, i dont get tsuka's.

He probably wants to see if anything interesting is happening outside the cage and has to go down there to look out.

he has fallen asleep like that a few times. gave me a heart attack, i thought he was ill. then he saw me awake so he moved and started playing lol
