That's Mims. She's probably going for a chin scratch, although she has another technique for doing it that's a lot more interesting to watch. She can lift her foot up under her chin with the toes clenched loosely, sort of like a fist, and slowly scratch her chin with one toenail, pretty similar to the way a human would scratch their chin. I've never seen any other cockatiel do that. She's going for the traditional leg behind the wing speed scritch in this picture. I'd like to see a human try THAT.

Tielfan, that's how George used to do it! I must fish up an old video of him doing it and show it to you. It was absolutely fascinating to watch

If you mean the green bird that's standing in front of the turkey, that is a real live Princess of Wales parakeet! Unfortunately I didn't get to keep him permanently.
